With many people practicing “social distancing” because of the #coronavirus, it isn’t difficult to think about the many dystopian films that have been released over the years. Two friends from Saltillo are contributing to Mississippi’s film scene with sophisticated films and a passion for the art, and one of their first was about “a boy looking for water in a post-apocalyptic world caused by drought.” Read more at link in bio.
Often referred to by locals as a “hidden gem,” Satterfield’s Pottery is on the rise in Oxford due to the high demand of handcrafted pottery. Located on Country Road 348, what appears to be an old stable barn was actually renovated to be a creative studio, event center, living quarters and a pottery showroom. Two best friends, Michael Satterfield and John Meyer, who love and share a passion for pottery envision great success for their nirvana. Read more at link in bio.

You begin to hear what is coming before they reach you. The Ole Miss Drumline is just one part of the Pride of the South Marching Band and, perhaps, the most noticeable. Beginning in 1928, drumline musicians have always strived for excellence, although the drumline is sometimes overlooked.
