Beginning in the fall of 2016, the Alpha Psi chapter of Delta Gamma at the University of Mississippi officially broke ground on the construction for their new house.

Originally built in the early 20th century, the building had not been updated since the 1970s when a tragic fire burned much of the structure.

The $11 million renovation was made possible by donations of alumni and current chapter members over the past few years. Currently, the house is still in use, with only half of it being torn down, allowing members to continue to use the building.

Two Sophomores, Sarah Reininiger and Anne-Marie Stokes, share their enthusiasm and excitement for the renovations in this video.

With an August 2017 completion date, the new house will provide space for more residents, new new amenities for members, and give the growing chapter the proper space it needs to carry out its daily functions.
